The found register shown below has been set up to assist people in finding their cat.  Any cat reported to us as found will be put on this register for a period of approximately one year, or until we are notified otherwise.  Please note, the cats appear on this register in the order that they are reported as found to us.  Not necessarily by the date that they were found, this date is given if known.  This register is updated on a regular basis.

To register a cat as a found cat, please e mail the webmaster giving as much detail about the cat as you can. 
If you would like to send a photograph of the cat for publishing on this register please e mail the webmaster with the photograph attached in jpg format if possible please.  Alternatively, telephone  01724 783555

Scunthorpe & District Cats Protection would like to point out that we cannot be held responsible for the whereabouts of any of the cats listed below, and unless specifically stated as being so, they are not in the care of the branch.

This is a voluntary service and no charge is made, but any donations to Branch funds would be gratefully accepted.  


Description of  cat Area  found Date  found
A ginger male that had been straying for some time. Around two to three years old with tabby markings and he is very friendly used to children, cats and dogs. Barnetby Not sure but been around a while.
A female black and white kitten, three/ four months old.  Very friendly and wearing a sparkly red collar. West Common Gardens area of Scunthorpe 28/08/06
Unfortunately, a large black cat, shorthaired, thought to be male due to its size, was involved in a road traffic accident and subsequently died, Approx. 6.30pm on Burringham Road, Scunthorpe 13/03/06
