Foster carers:
Qualifications: No
qualifications are needed but you will obviously love animals.
To be a foster carer involves much
more than we can tell you on this page. However a few key points
are given below. Foster carers look after the
cats and kittens that we rescue in their own homes until permanent
loving homes can be found for them.
If you were to foster kittens you
would need to be at home to feed them four times per day. It also
helps if your partner is sympathetic to animals to help out as well.
Salary: The
satisfaction of knowing you have helped a homeless or abandoned cat or
kitten to begin a new chapter in it's life.
This is an entirely voluntary position with no paid salary. All
expenses, food, litter, veterinary fees and equipment are paid for by the
Branch
