Mack owned by Alyson
Mack owned by Alyson, November 2003
The photograph above shows Mack with one of his companions. Mack was a semi feral rescue cat who came from Scunthorpe & District Cats Protection.  Alyson has been kind enough to take on several difficult to home cats from the Branch, and Mack is the most domesticated and affectionate one.

Tiger boy
Tiger boy owned by Kristan, Bev and Stan Kafarski,  February 2004
This is our adoptee, Tiger boy! We got him from Cats Protection at Wootton.  He was destined to come to us! He meowed and meowed to attract our attention!  We also nickname him Tiger Woods!

Tiger is a lovely house cat, enjoys knees and his scratching post! He has not been any bother since we got him, three weeks ago. It's like he has always lived here.  He has ventured out a couple of times with us in the garden.  This weekend we will let him go further.  He makes us laugh with his funny antics, like putting his paw in water to drink and sitting in the window like a statue!

Mia
Mia owned by Sylvia Andrew,  early 2004
We first saw a picture of Mia on the Cats Protection website.  Although she had been ill and was still very thin we were told she was recovering well, so we gave her a home, and have watched her gradually improve.

She has learnt to trust us and loves being stroked and picked up now.  She may be small and dainty, but she fiercely guards her garden and chases off any other cats, even if they are twice her size.

Thomas
Thomas
Thomas belongs to my Mum, who lives in East.Yorkshire.  Thomas invited himself to live at my mums, and after being badly injured, is quite a cautious cat.  He is quite affectionate though!, my son calls him Tom-Tom, and whenever my son goes to stay with his nana, Tom-Tom follows him about everywhere!!!

(A cat lover!!!!)

Bella
Bella owned by Margaret
As I have now had Bella for 6 months, I thought you might like a photo of her in the garden.  She is not all that keen on the big world out there yet, but is learning the ropes gradually.  The fact that she is mainly indoors suits me fine, so we are well suited.

Margaret.
